Red are magazene.
![]() So I'm in a drug store yesterday and I decide to take a minute or two to glance at the magazines, and this is what I see. Maybe it was intended as a Greek or Latin name for some vehicle, I thought, so I took the time to open the magazine and look at the table of contents. Nope -- that's supposed to be the plural form of "hero." I don't expect Hot Rod to be written or edited as elegantly as, say, The New Yorker, but ... In case you missed it ...
Here's the video of Miss South Carolina, during the Miss Teen USA Pageant, attempting to explain why so many Americans can't find the U.S. on a world map. If you want to go insane, try diagramming her response. I'm torn between finding it hilarious and feeling compassion for anyone who has an embarrassing moment viewed by millions of people, live and through clips like these. Labels: mistake, oops, YouTube
